DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

TheModHub respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on TheModHub in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify us using one of the methods below.

Required Information for DMCA Takedown Notice:
  1. Your contact information: Name, address, telephone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the work you claim has been infringed
  3. Location of infringing material: The exact URL(s) where the material appears on our site
  4. A statement of good faith: That you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury: That the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, TheModHub maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We keep records of DMCA notices for this purpose.

False Claims Warning

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please ensure you have a good faith belief that material infringes your copyright before submitting a notice.
